Stripe, the world's largest provider of financial services and e-commerce software, has partnered with Airbnb, an online platform for offering and searching for short-term private rentals around the world.

The partnership will allow Airbnb users to add their bank account as a payment method through the Stripe Financial Connections app and then use Link for bank payments when booking accommodations.

Stripe has more than 100 optimizations that improve every aspect of the checkout process, including an out-of-the-box user interface for payments, more than 40 payment methods, and the Link option. With Link, Airbnb users can check out faster using bank information saved from previous purchases at any Link-enabled business, according to Stripe's website.

"We're thrilled to partner with Airbnb to offer bank payments as an option that's just as fast and convenient as anything else," said Mike Clayville, Chief Revenue Officer at Stripe.

We previously reported that Stripe had partnered with WhatsApp to enable businesses and users in Singapore to buy and sell directly from the WhatsApp mobile app.

Stripe is a leader in the payments market and also offers a wide range of solutions to simplify tax reporting, dynamic KYC/AML verification and fraud protection.
