Capital.com, a brokerage company, has announced the appointment of Niamh Byrne as its Head of UK and Ireland. Niamh will be responsible for building strong client relationships and driving overall strategy in these markets.
Prior to joining Capital.com, Byrne was the Head of UK B2B2C Sales at London-based IG Group. As a reminder, Capital.com’s CEO is Peter Hetherington, former chief executive officer of IG Group.
Also, Capital.com and OvalX made a joint statement, confirming that the broker acquired the client base of OvalX.
Capital.com has entered into an agreement with Monecor (London) Limited, a subsidiary regulated by the FCA. Under the terms of the agreement, OvalX will offer some of its existing retail and professional clients the opportunity to transfer their accounts to Capital.com, according to the statement.
“This will ensure continuity of service for OvalX clients and allow them to continue trading, without disruption,” reads the statement.
Capital.com is a UK-based Forex broker offering its services to traders and investors all across the world. The company’s operation is regulated by Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The company works with two large European banks (Raiffeisen, RBS).
