Broker ATFX announces its sponsorship of the Duke of Edinburgh's Cup (DOE) City of London Qualifier 2023.

This year, one of the qualifying tournaments will take place on July 21 at the London Golf Club, co-sponsored by Lucera and the Pewterers Company.

The annual Duke of Edinburgh's Cup International Golf Tournament Series was established to support young people and children in need. The program, which targets 14- to 24-year-olds, gives them the opportunity to overcome hardship and adversity and strive for a better life.

To date, the project has raised and distributed more than $5,000,000 to charities in more than 15 countries on 5 continents, ATFX reported.

DOE is committed to ensuring that all funds raised during the tournament stay in the country where the tournament is held. This ensures that the money stays in the local community and is used as effectively as possible.

In addition to this year's City of London Qualifier, ATFX will be supporting tournaments in other countries, such as Turkey and Thailand, where participants will have the opportunity to explore and interact with people from different cultures and traditions.

The DOE reports that funds raised from the next round of the event, to be held in Turkey in October 2023, will go to help children and youth affected by the earthquake that struck the country in February 2023.

ATFX operates a global outreach program to provide support and assistance to communities and people in need. We support the partnership with DOE Cup and their commitment to helping young people around the world.

"We think it is highly important to look after and nurture the next generation, so this is very much in line with ATFX’s philosophy," said Wei Qiang Zhang, Managing Director of ATFX Connect.

"We are delighted to support such a great cause, working with ATFX, who are a key partner, to help the communities we operate in and bring our clients together," commented Laura Casanova, Chief Commercial Officer of Lucera.

"We're extremely delighted to continue working with ATFX and see new partners joining this magnificent event to support young people and local communities," said John Casserly, Director of Operations at the DOE Cup.
