Interactive Brokers announced that it has expanded its Overnight Trading Hours service to include more than 10,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs.

The expanded offering allows the broker's clients to trade more U.S. stocks nearly 24 hours a day, five days a week. In addition, Interactive Brokers' clients in Europe and Asia can now trade U.S. stocks and ETFs during local market hours.

To provide additional overnight trading liquidity provided by the IBEOS Alternative Trading System (ATS), the company has connected to Blue Ocean ATS, ADVFN reported.

"Overnight Trading is an important service that helps our clients make timely trading decisions and capture investment opportunities around the clock," said Milan Galik, CEO of Interactive Brokers.

Interactive Brokers notes that Overnight Trading Hours begin at 8:00 p.m. ET and end at 3:50 a.m. ET, with the first session of the week beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday and the last session ending at 3:50 a.m. ET on Friday. In addition, trades executed between 8:00 p.m. ET and 12:00 a.m. ET will have a trade date for the next trading day.
