Interactive Brokers has announced a refinement of the Client Portal Order Ticket.

The Client Portal Order Ticket now has a horizontal layout rather than a vertical one, which has a number of advantages. In particular, the new layout helps users avoid scrolling up and down the page to find the correct fields when creating an order.

The vertical orientation is still available in the Order Ticket "Quick" window, which appears on the right side of the Client Portal interface, FNG said.

In addition, Order Ticket changes are also available in the Advisor Portal. Advisors can now select an existing Allocation Group from the Account/Group drop-down list. The default Allocation Method for the selected group will be displayed on the order line and can be changed on a per-order basis if desired.

The updates will be rolled out over a period of several weeks.

In addition, the Client Portal now supports Trailing Stop and Trailing Stop Limit orders.

The broker has also implemented a number of bug fixes, including:

- The display in the Buying Power field now shows the full value.

- A new Total Amount field has been added to the Trades section of the Orders & Trades screen, which displays the total amount of the trade minus fees.

- The privacy switch is now available again on the Quote Details page.

- The Deposit button is fixed, which was previously linked to the wrong account.

- Deleting an Overnight contract from the Watchlist is now correct.

- The volume indicator has been disabled for security types that do not support it.
