Swiss company Dukascopy Bank has reported a sharp increase in net profit in its annual report for fiscal year 2022.
The net profit for FY 2022 increased by 207% to CHF 6.4 million, compared to CHF 2.1 million in the previous year. However, this figure is significantly lower than the CHF 10.4 million registered in 2020.
According to the data published in Dukascopy Bank's annual report, all its divisions, including Dukascopy Japan and Dukascopy Europe, posted profits despite the difficult geopolitical situation in Eastern Europe and the global financial crisis.
Operating income for the period increased by 21 percent to CHF 27.4 million from CHF 22.7 million in the previous year.
The company's total assets increased by 6 percent to CHF 196.3 million from CHF 184.5 million in the previous year.
Dukascopy's total client deposits increased by 4% to CHF 131.3 million in 2022.
