Brief Look at GlobeX360

GlobeX360 brokerage firm, also known as 360Capital Ltd, officially ceased operations in September 2024, transferring its client base of 189,000 accounts to QuickTrade.World. The deal was finalized on September 9, 2024, between Paul Venter, representing GlobeX360, and Hardus Van Pletsen, CEO of QuickTrade.World.
As stated in a notification on the QuickTrade.World website, all GlobeX360 clients have since been migrated from the MetaTrader 4 platform to MetaTrader 5, with their funds moved to QuickTrade.World’s segregated client accounts in Botswana. GlobeX360 will continue to operate as an Introducing Broker (IB), supporting clients throughout the transition.
The official reasons for GlobeX360's closure remain undisclosed. However, the company had faced prior allegations regarding payment delays and the unexplained withholding of client funds. In 2020, more than 67 clients submitted a petition to the FSCA (Financial Sector Conduct Authority), seeking the return of over 8 million rand. Reports also surfaced concerning potential license cloning and a lack of legitimate regulation.
Following the client base transfer, QuickTrade.World offered users an updated MetaTrader 5 platform and promised a smooth, delay-free transition.

I chose GlobeX360 because of its relatively low entry threshold — there’s no large minimum deposit required, which makes it easy to trade in small volumes. I mainly trade currency pairs and stocks, and occasionally enter the crypto market. Over time, I’ve noticed that order execution speed is average — there are some delays, but nothing critical. The platform supports CFD trading on over 50 instruments, which is more than enough for me as a beginner. On the downside, the educational materials are outdated, updates are rare, and customer support is only available during business hours.

I also appreciated the low minimum deposit — it lowers the entry barrier for beginners. There are enough instruments to test strategies, and order execution is average, but at least there are no critical delays. It would be great if customer support operated longer hours and educational materials were updated more frequently, but overall, it’s a solid option for getting started.

I am a novice trader and GlobeX360 seems to be a good option, because there are no high requirements for the minimum deposit and you can open orders with minimum volumes. But the situation with educational materials at GlobeX360 is very poor. There are some trading strategies, but they have long been outdated.

First, I’ll say that Globex 360 successfully withdraws profits and deposits, provided that traders have successfully passed verification. However, there are some nuances with its trading platform. Slippages occur from time to time and cases of platform freezing have been observed. But in general, despite these shortcomings, Globex 360 has every reason to be rated good.

I do not recommend working with Globex360. It calls itself a Forex broker, but in reality it will just take your money. How did this happen to me? I decided to start investing and made the mistake of opening an account with GlobeX360. Due to glitches on the platform I was unable to earn anything. My $1,700 remained there.

And what positive aspect is there because the company GlobeX360 is located in South Africa and has a license from the local regulator? This license is of no use to me. GlobeX360 has not been withdrawing my profit of $1500 for almost a month now. I hoped the broker was reputable and honest. But it turns out they can deceive clients when they claim that fund withdrawals are very fast.

It looks like I will have to leave GlobeX360. I opened an account with this company five months ago. Everything was fine on the demo account. The platform worked well and trades were opened quickly. But as soon as I switched to a live account, a lot changed. Now orders can take two minutes to open, although on the demo account it was very fast. I thought it would be better later. But the GlobeX360 platform constantly has problems.

Globex360 does not provide any ECN order execution. With their order processing speed, they seem to be operating in the past century. How can an order take almost a minute to open in an ECN system? When I complained to the customer support of Globex360, they told me it was due to excessive load, resulting in delayed order openings. However, if such issues persist, why doesn't the company update its servers and increase traffic capacity? Overall, the services in this company are of very poor quality.
