Loads of RoboForex's copycat sites have appeared recently. Their goal is to get traders' money and their details by deception. They disguise themselves with an eerily similar logo, design, color palette, and graphics copied from the original site. How to log in to the members area on the official RoboForex website?

You can enter your members area from any page of the RoboForex website. To do this, select one of two variants in the upper right corner:

"Registration" — button for those who do not have a RoboForex account yet and are registering at the company's website for the first time.

Enter the email address you specified during registration and the system-generated password. You will find the password in the letter you received at the time of registration.

Changing the password to the members area at RoboForex

Forgot your password or for some reason, you have difficulties with logging in to your members area? Take the opportunity to change the password without logging in. You can do it in the following way:

Click the "Login" button in the upper right corner of any page on the site and click "Forgot your password?"

Enter the email address your account is registered to.

A link will be sent to your email and be valid for 72 hours. When you click on it, you will be offered a new password option. If you do not follow the link, your old password will remain active.

How to register your members area on the RoboForex website?

Step-by-step instructions for those who are new to the broker's website and do not have their account yet:

In the upper right corner of the website, click the "Registration" button.

This option is the simplest. The site provides other options for opening an account, but they are all duplicative and lead to the registration form.

Fill out the registration form. It consists of two steps:

2.1 Fill out the account information: email address, first name, last name, phone number. It is obligatory to tick the first two checkboxes.

2.2. Opening an account:

Before continuing to fill in the registration form, click on the "Show" button. The login and password you will need to access the members area will appear on the screen. All account information will also be duplicated to your email.

The next step is to fill in the data on the trading account. Here you need to select the type of account, the currency, and the leverage. For more information click on the "?" sign, and a brief recommendation will appear in the block on the right.

Important

Once you have registered, you will have access to your members area. However, you will not be able to deposit funds or open deals until you have completed verification successfully. A guide regarding how to pass it will be described below.

How to open a trading account in the members area on the RoboForex website

The functionality of the members area allows opening any number of account types, including demo accounts — the first account the broker offers to open at the time of registration in the second step of filling in the registration form. This moment is marked on the screenshot above. If you missed this step (technically it is possible, because the broker sends the password to the members area after the first step of the registration form), you can open the account after authorization.

Your broker offers you to open a demo account when you register, at the second step of the registration form. But this step can be skipped and then you can open an account from within your members area. The opening procedure is duplicated and there are several options for opening a demo account, one of which is discussed below.

Next, you need to download the trading platform and use its "File/Connect to trading account" menu to connect the opened account. The trader may open any number of demo accounts. You can find their list in your members area in the following directory: "Accounts/My accounts".

Opening a real trading account in the RoboForex members area

In addition to live trading accounts, RoboForex offers to open affiliate, contest, and two types of investment accounts. You can open them from the "Accounts" tab at the top of the main menu.

The scenario for opening a real trading account is almost the same as for opening a demo account:

Click "Open a new account" in the additional block on the main page of the members area. The same can be done through the menu "Accounts/Trading account" as indicated in the previous screenshot.

After opening an account on the official RoboForex website, enter this account number into the "Accounts" section of the members area on the Traders Union website.

The main advantage of opening a trading account with RoboForex via Traders Union is the opportunity to get additional income (bonuses in the form of recurring rebates) for each executed trade. Rebates are paid by the broker to Traders Union daily and Traders Union in its turn gives it to the client every day as well. Moreover, the client can transfer the value of all or some of the rebates received from the Traders Union straight to his trading account at RoboForex.

Example.

You opened an ECN-Pro account with the affiliate link. Your trading volume on EUR/USD was 1 full standard lot. The point value in 4-digit quotes is: 100,000 x 1 x 0.0001 = $10. If the spread is 2 pips, you will pay $20 to your broker in commission for facilitating the transaction. Out of this amount, RoboForex will transfer 50% to the Traders Union and TU will reimburse you 80% or $8. YOUR ACTUAL EXPENSES FOR THE SPREAD/TRACKING FEE WILL BE $8. Your actual spread/commission expense will be $12. The actual cost of the spread/commission will be $12 instead of $20. YOU WILL BE REIMBURSED $12 INSTEAD OF $20. You can withdraw the reimbursed money at your discretion, including to your brokerage account.

Conclusion.

Technically, there is no difference whether you open an account with a broker directly or through Traders Union. Trading conditions do not change, there are no additional fees or commissions. But if you register with RoboForex through Traders Union, you have the opportunity to reduce your spread and broker's commission and earn extra income.

The RoboForex members area is more functional compared to its competitors. In order not to confuse customers who are visiting the website for the first time, some of the functions are doubled in additional blocks. We've extended the technical toolkit by switching from the members area to R Trader and Copy Fx platforms.

• Transparency. When opening any type of account, including a contest or investment account, the broker presents its regulatory documents so that you may become familiar with them. Most brokers place documents in a separate section, which traders often skip.

•Access to additional services such as CopyFx and R Trader.

•Intuitive structuring of sections.

•Ability to view the history of actions performed like the movement of funds, transactions, change of passwords, etc.

•Money distribution between accounts via a separate virtual wallet. It protects the total balance in case of a stop-out on a separate account, allows you to see the total balance and general statistics on all deposits, and helps you quickly distribute money using internal transactions.

•Communication with support with a link to a specific trading account.

👎 Disadvantages of the members area of RoboForex:

• Difficulty in understanding the multi-level tab system. Example: If you hover over the "Insert" menu in the MT4 platform, a drop-down list appears. The RoboForex members area is notable for its functionality and numerous tabs, which are duplicated as quick access buttons on the main page of the broker's website. All the most important things are in plain view in the central auxiliary block — Opening of Accounts and Statistics on payments. The main menu is structured by objectives such as accounts, investing, etc.

As for the personal wallet, RoboForex went even further: the wallet has its password and is protected by two-factor authentication. The broker views the protection of personal data and the safety of the client's money as its highest objective. All accesses and passwords can be changed in the same .

The integration of CopyFx and R Trader platforms to the members area is pure genius — since they are separate platforms and logically would have to have their own account. But the developers were able to combine the classic CFD trading with the service of copying transactions and professional stock trading.

I’m over the moon from the members area interface. The majority of brokers have a panel with the main tabs on the left side, the main screen displays the content of the tabs. RoboForex is different. The appearance of the interface of the cabinet is almost the same as the website interface. It has the same top menu. But the internal structure is different.

What I liked:

A panel with account data is always at your fingertips: balance, data, verification status.
A convenient and logical form that guides you when opening any type of account.
Contacts for the support team are at your elbow.

I didn't like the page redirection model. If I go to the financial issues section, for example, "Withdrawal of funds", all other sections disappear. To go from "Withdrawal of funds" to the traders' rating for copying signals, I have to go back to the main page of the members area/cabinet first. For some reason, some of the tabs are not duplicated in the top menu labeled "Cabinet".

In general, I give RoboForex a solid four for the convenience and layout of the members area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ease and convenience of the verification process because all details are in one place! A detailed list of required documents is specified. After verification, everything is available, from trading and withdrawal of money to registration of contest accounts. There is a negative example of working with another broker: I passed the verification in my profile, hence the support allowed me to open the transactions. When I requested withdrawal they told me that I had to provide them with additional information. This is not the case with RoboForex! As soon as the verification is passed, the status of your having passed appears in the information panel. That is all. From that moment on you may send any number of withdrawal requests.

I admired the well-made layout of the site’s mobile version. I like the layout of the menu and the large font. It is convenient to navigate through the tabs and view statistics on transactions in your members area even with a smartphone with a relatively small screen. It also has the optimal set of buttons for managing accounts and statistics. The structure of the members area differs from the structure of other brokers — but after 10-15 minutes of a backbreaking method of trying, you begin to cognize how well thought-out everything is and how quickly through the top menu or menu of the main page of the members area/cabinet you can move to different functional tabs. It's easy to get confused when you register for the first time. When you sign in to CopyFx and Stox you are redirected to another auxiliary site, where there are even more tabs than on the main site. And at first, it's not clear whether I have to register separately here or not. I was not sure how the menu of these auxiliary services relates to the main menu of my members area. And where to look for statistics, for example: on the investor account; in the service CopyFX module; or in the main members area section.
