Stripe and US-based installment payment service Affirm have announced that they have expanded their partnership.

The new agreement gives Canadian Stripe users access to Affirm's Adaptive Checkout feature.

Stripe has been present in the Canadian market since 2012. "Partnering with Affirm will help businesses in Canada adapt more quickly to changing consumer preferences," said Stripe's Sophie Sakellariadis.

According to the PYMNTS website, businesses using Stripe with integrated Affirm's services see an average 41 percent increase in average order value.

Adaptive Checkout uses Affirm's intelligent decision-making engine to offer consumers time-optimized payment options. Canadian Stripe users have been able to offer customers payments for goods and services from six weeks to 36 months at 0% APR.

Stripe is an Irish-American financial services and e-commerce software company. Also, Stripe is a leading player in the payment systems market, but unlike most of its competitors, Stripe's payment service only offers solutions for businesses. Stripe connects more than 240,000 merchants and platforms, offering flexible and transparent payment methods.
