This Policy applies to Website content and features in the preparation of which IAFT uses artificial intelligence tools (“AI tools”), including editorial content, automated analytical content, translations, images, audio and video.
Artificial Intelligence Transparency Policy
Last updated:
Operator: IAFT LTD (Cyprus), registration number HE 336186
Website: tradersunion.com and language versions and subdomains operated by IAFT LTD
Contact: compliance@tradersunion.com
Preamble
This Artificial Intelligence Transparency Policy (the “Policy”) explains how IAFT LTD (“IAFT”, “Traders Union”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses artificial intelligence technologies in the preparation of certain content and Website features, and in which cases such content is identified as having been created, modified or translated using AI.
The Policy sets out Traders Union’s general approach to the transparent and non-misleading presentation of AI-related content, taking into account the nature of the relevant content, whether substantive editorial review has taken place, and applicable legal requirements, including, where applicable, the transparency requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the “EU AI Act”).
In certain cases, Traders Union may apply AI-content labels as a consistent Website transparency standard even where such labelling is not expressly required by applicable law.
This Policy is provided for informational purposes. It does not constitute a service-level agreement, a guarantee of the accuracy or error-free operation of any AI system, or a commitment to use any specific AI model, technology or provider. It does not create additional contractual warranties except where required by mandatory applicable law.

Article 1. Scope and Key Definitions
-
1.1
-
1.2
For the purposes of this Policy, the following categories apply:
“Editorial Content” means content prepared with the assistance of AI that undergoes substantive human review or editorial control before publication and is published under the editorial responsibility of Traders Union.
“Automated Content” means content that is generated and published automatically without substantive human review before publication.
“AI Translation” means a language version of content that has been automatically translated using AI.
“Synthetic Media / Deep Fake” means image, audio or video content created or modified using AI that resembles an existing person, object, place, organisation, other entity or event and may reasonably be perceived as authentic or truthful.
-
1.3
The use of AI in the preparation of particular content or Website features does not mean that all content on the Website is AI-generated or AI-assisted.
Article 2. Classification of AI Content and Labelling Principles
-
2.1
Traders Union applies different transparency measures depending on the nature of the AI-related content, the way in which it is published, and whether substantive editorial review takes place before publication.
-
2.2
Editorial Content. Content that undergoes substantive human review or editorial control before publication and is published under the editorial responsibility of Traders Union is not separately labelled as AI-generated, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
-
2.3
Automated Content. Content that is published automatically without substantive human review before publication is labelled by Traders Union as AI-generated in accordance with this Policy.
-
2.4
AI Translation. Language versions that are automatically translated using AI are labelled by Traders Union as AI-translated in accordance with this Policy.
-
2.5
Synthetic Media / Deep Fake. Images, audio and video created or modified using AI are subject to the separate disclosure rules set out in Article 6 of this Policy and applicable law.
Article 3. Editorial Content
-
3.1
IAFT may use artificial intelligence tools to assist in the preparation of editorial content.
Where such content undergoes substantive human review or editorial control before publication and is published under the editorial responsibility of Traders Union, it is not separately labelled as AI-generated unless otherwise required by applicable law.
-
3.2
Editorial Content may include, in particular:
• articles and educational content;
• news, editorial columns and analytical content;
• reviews of brokers, platforms and other services;
• rankings and comparative content;
• editorial and expert conclusions;
• certain text blocks appearing on company profile pages;
• infographics, previews, images and videos prepared using AI, subject to the separate rules applicable to Synthetic Media / Deep Fake under this Policy.
-
3.3
Substantive human review or editorial control involves an assessment of the content on its merits before publication. Depending on the nature of the content, such review may include:
• reviewing the meaning and logic of the content;
• checking material factual and numerical statements;
• comparing the content against underlying data and sources;
• assessing whether the information is current;
• correcting material errors or inaccuracies;
• assessing the overall presentation of the content and applicable risk disclosures.
-
3.4
A review limited to spelling, formatting, style, visual presentation or technical quality does not, by itself, constitute substantive editorial review for the purposes of this Policy.
-
3.5
AI output is not treated as an independent source of factual verification. Material and changeable information, including information concerning licences, regulatory status, sanctions, fees, third-party terms and other higher-risk matters, is checked against official, primary or other reliable sources where such verification is relevant to the content concerned.
-
3.6
Following completion of editorial control, the content is published under the editorial responsibility of Traders Union. Editorial review does not constitute a guarantee of absolute accuracy, completeness or absence of errors.
-
3.7
If content that would ordinarily fall within Editorial Content is in fact published without substantive human review or editorial control before publication, the rules applicable to Automated Content under Article 4 of this Policy apply.
-
3.8
The rules in this Article concerning the absence of a separate AI label for Editorial Content do not exempt Synthetic Media / Deep Fake from separate disclosure where required under Article 6 of this Policy or applicable law.
Article 4. Automated Content
-
4.1
Certain content and information blocks on the Website may be generated and published automatically without substantive human review or editorial control before publication (“Automated Content”).
-
4.2
Traders Union identifies Automated Content using the following visible label:
AI
This label informs users that the relevant content was created using artificial intelligence and was published without substantive human review before publication.
-
4.3
The following explanatory text is provided on hover, focus, click, tap or another accessible interaction:
Generated by AI. No human review before publication.
-
4.4
The AI label is placed so that users can perceive it upon their first exposure to the relevant Automated Content. The disclosure is not provided solely in the Website footer, this Policy or another location separated from the relevant content.
-
4.5
The additional explanation must be accessible on the types of devices supported by the Website and must not depend exclusively on cursor hover. Where applicable, the interface provides access to the explanation through click, tap, keyboard focus or a comparable method of interaction.
-
4.6
Automated Content may include, in particular:
• TU AI Model Price Predictions;
• AI Market Insights and other automatically generated analytical blocks on forecast pages;
• automatically generated AI FAQ blocks on broker pages and other profile pages;
• other content created using AI and made available to users without substantive human review or editorial control before publication.
-
4.7
The categories and features falling within Automated Content may change as Website functionality evolves. A particular feature is classified as Automated Content based on its actual preparation and publication process rather than solely on its name or location on the Website.
-
4.8
The AI label does not mean that Automated Content constitutes a personalised recommendation, investment advice, a trading instruction or a guarantee of any outcome. Financial and market-related content is additionally subject to the applicable methodology, Risk Disclosure and other relevant risk warnings.
-
4.9
If Automated Content is subsequently corrected, supplemented or reviewed by a person, this does not change the fact that its initial version was published without prior substantive human review. Traders Union may update the status or presentation of such content to reflect the way in which it has subsequently been handled.
Article 5. AI Translation
-
5.1
IAFT may use artificial intelligence tools to automatically translate certain Website content and pages into other languages.
-
5.2
A language version that has been automatically translated using AI is identified by Traders Union using the following label:
AI-translated
-
5.3
The following explanatory text is displayed alongside the label or through an accessible explanatory element:
Automatically translated using AI. View the original article.
Where the original version of the relevant content is available on the Website, users are provided with a link to it.
-
5.4
The AI-translated label may be used, in particular, for automatically translated:
• news content;
• articles and educational content;
• content produced using standard templates;
• reviews of brokers, platforms and other services;
• rankings, comparisons and other informational pages.
-
5.5
Automated AI translation may contain semantic, terminological, contextual or other errors and may not fully reflect the meaning of the original content.
-
5.6
In the event of a discrepancy between an automatically translated version and the original content, users are encouraged to refer to the original version where it is available.
-
5.7
The AI-translated label is a consistent Traders Union transparency standard for automatically translated content. Its use does not mean that such labelling is expressly required by law in every individual case.
-
5.8
Where automatically translated content contains financial, market-related or other information, the relevant warnings, limitations and disclosures applicable to the underlying content also apply.
Article 6. Synthetic Media / Deep Fake and Direct Interaction with AI
-
6.1
The use of artificial intelligence to create or modify an image, audio or video does not, by itself, mean that the relevant content constitutes Synthetic Media / Deep Fake for the purposes of this Policy.
-
6.2
Content is treated as Synthetic Media / Deep Fake where an image, audio or video created or modified using AI sufficiently resembles an existing or realistically plausible person, object, place, organisation, other entity or event and may falsely appear to a user to be authentic or truthful.
-
6.3
Where Traders Union publishes content meeting the criteria for Synthetic Media / Deep Fake, users are informed that the relevant content has been artificially generated or manipulated.
Such disclosure is provided in a clear and distinguishable manner no later than the user’s first exposure to the relevant content and in accordance with applicable accessibility requirements.
-
6.4
Depending on the type of material, the following labels may be used, for example:
AI-generated image
AI-generated video
AI-generated audio
or another equivalent wording that clearly indicates that the material was created or altered using artificial intelligence.
Where content has been modified using AI rather than fully generated, the disclosure may use “AI-modified image”, “AI-modified video”, “AI-modified audio”, “AI-manipulated content” or another meaning-equivalent statement that accurately reflects the nature of the modification.
-
6.5
Substantive editorial review before publication does not remove the requirement for a separate disclosure where the content meets the criteria for Synthetic Media / Deep Fake and such disclosure is required by applicable law.
-
6.6
Where Synthetic Media / Deep Fake forms part of an evidently artistic, creative, satirical, fictional or analogous work, the disclosure may be presented in a manner that does not hamper the normal display or enjoyment of the work, while maintaining the required level of transparency.
-
6.7
Ordinary AI-assisted infographics, illustrations, previews, graphic elements, technical image processing, visual effects and similar content are not labelled as Deep Fake solely because AI was used in their creation or processing. IAFT may apply voluntary AI labelling to such content where appropriate.
-
6.8
In assessing whether content may falsely appear to be authentic or truthful, IAFT may take into account, in particular:
• the degree of resemblance to the person, object, place, organisation, other entity or event represented;
• the content and substantive message;
• the context in which it is presented;
• the intended audience and users’ reasonable expectations.
-
6.9
Where a Website feature enables a user to interact directly with an AI system, Traders Union informs the user of the automated nature of that interaction from the start of the first interaction, unless this is already obvious from the context or otherwise provided by applicable law.
-
6.10
Synthetic Media / Deep Fake or direct-AI-interaction disclosures apply independently of any other warnings, disclosures or editorial labels that may be required for the relevant content.
Article 7. Financial and Analytical Content
-
7.1
Forecasts, market analysis, TU AI Model content, Automated Content and other financial or market-related materials prepared or published using AI are provided solely for general informational and educational purposes.
-
7.2
Such materials are general and non-personalised. They do not take into account any particular user’s individual investment objectives, financial situation, knowledge, experience, investment horizon or risk tolerance.
-
7.3
Nothing in such materials constitutes or should be construed as:
• investment advice;
• a personal or personalised investment recommendation;
• a trading strategy or instruction intended for a particular user;
• an offer, invitation or inducement to buy, sell, hold or otherwise transact in any financial instrument or other asset;
• an assessment of the suitability or appropriateness of a particular transaction for a particular user;
• a guarantee of any future price, return or other outcome.
-
7.4
Interface labels and elements, including, where used, buy, sell, strong buy, strong sell, AI Signal, bias, scenario, entry, stop-loss, target, risk/reward, trade plan and similar terms, reflect the outputs of general analytical or automated methodologies. They do not constitute a personal recommendation, an individual trading instruction or a guarantee of any outcome.
-
7.5
Such labels and analytical outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed or become outdated quickly. They may change as a result of changes in market data, technical indicators, methodology or other factors.
-
7.6
Editorial review, the presence of an AI label or the absence of such a label does not alter the informational and non-personalised nature of the content and does not turn it into investment advice or a personal recommendation.
-
7.7
Users should not rely solely on AI-generated, AI-assisted or other analytical materials published by Traders Union when making trading or investment decisions and should independently assess the relevant information and risks.
-
7.8
IAFT does not execute transactions, receive or transmit trading orders, manage investment portfolios or trading accounts, or assess whether a particular transaction is suitable or appropriate for a particular user.
-
7.9
Further information concerning the methodology, underlying data, limitations and nature of the relevant forecasting or analytical tools may be provided on the applicable methodology page.
-
7.10
Financial and analytical content is also subject to the Terms of Use, Risk Disclosure and relevant risk warnings published on the Website.
Article 8. Data and Third-Party AI Tools
-
8.1
IAFT may use third-party AI tools and technologies in the preparation of certain Website content and features. The specific technologies and providers used may change.
-
8.2
TU AI Model and related automated analytical features use market and technical data to generate the relevant outputs, including, depending on the particular feature, price data, technical indicators, market-dynamics data and other information required by the applicable analytical methodology.
-
8.3
User account data or information specific to an individual user, including the user’s financial situation, investment objectives, trading experience or individual risk tolerance, is not used to generate the TU AI Model outputs described in Section 8.2.
-
8.4
TU AI Model outputs are general and non-personalised. They are not generated on the basis of an individual user profile.
-
8.5
Other uses of AI tools on the Website, including editorial assistance, translation and the preparation of certain visual or multimedia content, may involve the processing of content necessary to perform the relevant function.
Where such processing involves personal data, the Privacy Notice and applicable data-protection requirements apply.
-
8.6
This Policy is not intended to provide an exhaustive description of the technical architecture, configurations, providers or contractual terms applicable to third-party AI tools. Further information concerning the processing of personal data is provided in the Privacy Notice or the relevant interface where required by applicable law.
-
8.7
The use of a third-party AI tool does not mean that IAFT guarantees the continuous availability of that tool, the continued availability of its features or the complete absence of technical errors.
-
8.8
Further information concerning the data and analytical methodology applicable to particular TU AI Model features may be provided on the relevant methodology page.
Article 9. Advertising, Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships
-
9.1
The use of artificial intelligence in the preparation or publication of content does not alter the Traders Union rules applicable to the disclosure of advertising, sponsorship, paid placement, affiliate links or other commercial relationships.
-
9.2
An AI, AI-translated or other AI-related label describes how the relevant content was created, processed or translated and does not replace any commercial disclosure that may be required.
-
9.3
Where AI-generated, AI-assisted or AI-translated content contains advertising, sponsored placement, paid placement, an affiliate link or another commercial element, the relevant commercial nature is disclosed separately in accordance with the Advertiser & Affiliate Disclosure and applicable law.
-
9.4
Where applicable, the commercial disclosure is presented on or immediately adjacent to the relevant link, button, card, table entry, offer or other commercial placement so that users can understand its commercial nature before clicking or otherwise engaging with it.
-
9.5
The presence of AI-generated or AI-assisted analytical content alongside a third-party offer, advertisement or affiliate link does not, by itself, mean that Traders Union endorses, recommends or guarantees the relevant broker, platform, product or service.
-
9.6
Traders Union does not use AI-related labelling to obscure the commercial nature of a placement or to create a misleading impression of independence, endorsement, recommendation or absence of a commercial relationship.
Further information about Traders Union’s commercial relationships is available in the Advertiser & Affiliate Disclosure.
Article 10. Corrections, Complaints and Feedback
-
10.1
Users may notify Traders Union of suspected errors, inaccuracies or other issues relating to content and Website features prepared or operated using artificial intelligence.
-
10.2
Such reports may concern, in particular:
• a factual or numerical error in AI-generated or AI-assisted content;
• outdated or misleading information;
• a missing, incorrect or insufficiently visible AI or AI-translated label;
• an error or material distortion in an automated AI translation;
• Synthetic Media / Deep Fake that the user believes has not been appropriately disclosed;
• another suspected failure to comply with this Policy.
-
10.3
A report may be submitted:
• through the “Report an error” function, where available on the relevant page; or
• by email to compliance@tradersunion.com.
-
10.4
Where possible, the report should include the URL of the relevant page, a description of the suspected issue and supporting materials, such as a screenshot or a source supporting a claimed factual inaccuracy.
-
10.5
Reports are handled in accordance with the Complaints Handling Policy and, depending on the nature of the issue, other applicable Traders Union policies.
-
10.6
Following review, IAFT may, depending on the circumstances:
• correct or update the content;
• add a clarification or appropriate disclosure;
• correct or supplement an AI-related label;
• correct an automated translation;
• restrict access to or remove the content;
• take no further action where no sufficient grounds for a change are identified.
-
10.7
A material factual correction to published content may be accompanied by an “Updated” label, the date of the update and, where appropriate, a brief explanation of the nature of the change.
-
10.8
The correction of content after publication does not mean that Traders Union guarantees the absence of other errors or the absolute accuracy of the relevant AI-generated, AI-assisted or AI-translated content.
-
10.9
Where a report concerns personal data, allegedly unlawful content, advertising or affiliate disclosure, trademarks or another matter for which Traders Union maintains a separate procedure, the relevant specialised Website policy and procedure apply.
