BTCM Exchange Review 2025

Updated:

Brief Look at BTCM Exchange

Established in 2021, BTCM Exchange entered the market offering clients cryptocurrency exchange, purchase, and trading services. However, its website is currently inaccessible, and online information about the broker is scarce, except for negative feedback from crypto traders who invested with them. The majority of client complaints center on non-payment of funds under various pretexts.
Many deceived traders also report concerns about fake quotes and suspicious price fluctuations, leading to significant losses. The broker did not disclose any information about regulators or licenses and limited clients’ ability to contact support, offering communication with support operators only through email.

I came across a crypto broker ad on Instagram and became intrigued by the enticing offers promising a good opportunity to earn by trading cryptocurrencies. I DMed to clarify the details, and a manager promptly responded, explaining the advantages of working with BTCM Exchange. I decided to try trading with this broker, but things didn't go smoothly from the start. The first thing that displeased me was the inability to trade on the desktop version. The company only provided a mobile platform. I deposited $500, traded for about two months, but didn't achieve much success, so I decided to withdraw my funds. These scammers denied my withdrawal request and closed my account.

BTCM Exchange stole my money, simply zeroing my account. I closed several trades with a profit and decided to take a break because the market situation was too unstable. When prices stabilized, I wanted to resume trading, but upon logging into the mobile app, I saw that there was no money in the account. No matter how much I wrote to support, I couldn't get an answer about where my money went. Initially, they promised to investigate and resolve the issue, but then they simply stopped responding. I wanted to file a complaint, but the company had no regulators, and then it ceased to exist altogether.

I used cryptocurrency exchange services several times, and everything went quickly, without delays, in line with the rates and fees stated on the website. A representative from the company messaged me and offered favorable conditions for profiting from price fluctuations, promising to support successful trading, and shared stories of many clients quickly getting rich by trading crypto. I believed, but later regretted it because I lost my entire capital. I bought Bitcoins based on the consultant's advice, but prices plunged unexpectedly, and all my trades automatically closed due to insufficient margin. It seems to me that this was done artificially because I checked price charts on other exchanges, and such a market crash did not actually occur.

The brokerage company BTCM Exchange does not process withdrawals, citing various reasons. First, they told me there was insufficient margin. I closed the orders and submitted a withdrawal request again. This time, they refused due to blockchain malfunctions and asked me to submit the request again in 2-3 days. I repeated the request, but the money was never withdrawn. I wrote to support, but received no response. After a while, I discovered my account was closed. BTCM Exchange are thieves and scammers who misappropriate traders' money and go unpunished.

BTCM Exchange is a fraudulent organization posing as a cryptocurrency broker, but all they aim for is to steal investments from trusting traders. I deposited funds and traded for a while with a small profit. When attempting to withdraw money, problems arose. They claimed there was insufficient margin for open orders. At the first opportunity, I closed all positions and submitted a withdrawal request again. Since then, I haven’t been able to log into the account because it was blocked.

A highly suspicious company, most likely not a broker but rather scammers. I've been trading cryptocurrencies for a long time and have never encountered such a market crash that wiped out my entire capital in an instant. I opened orders for $800, with an additional $1,500 remaining in the account. Initially, the fluctuations were small, around 3%, but suddenly the market plummeted to -360%, which is simply unreal. All my assets disappeared instantly. I reached out to support, tried to figure out what happened, hoping for technical glitches, but to no avail. They responded that such things happen and did not engage further.

At BTCM Exchange, they will persuade you to invest more money, claiming the more, the better, but you won't be able to earn anything. They offer a suspicious mobile platform. Quotes differ significantly from prices at other brokers, and prices fluctuate so much that you can quickly lose all your money. Okay, I didn't lose much because I decided to test the conditions first and traded with only $200. But even that money is regrettable because I incurred losses not due to my actions but simply because the platform didn't respond to my commands to close orders. Technical support told me that the problem was not on their end and that they are not responsible for my smartphone's performance and internet connection quality.
