TU Expert Verdict

Chief Analytics Officer

DLS Markets carries a higher degree of risk. My review and user feedback point to noticeable performance issues and limitations. It may be appropriate only for experienced traders who fully understand the risks and are prepared for potential instability.

DLS Markets provides access to trading CFDs on Forex pairs, stocks, indices, metals, and commodities, with over 250 assets available. Clients can use MetaTrader 4 or WebTrader, and choose between two account types: Standard with spreads from 1.2 pips and no commission, or ECN with raw spreads from 0 pips and a $6 commission per lot. Leverage is up to 1:1,000, and the minimum deposit is $100. The broker supports trading with micro-lots, offers a free demo account, and runs a reward program where trading points can be exchanged for gifts.

Drawbacks include Tier-3 regulation by the VFSC, limited deposit and withdrawal methods with no bank card support, a lack of educational resources, no built-in analytics, and the absence of a call center for support. DLS Markets may suit experienced traders seeking high leverage and competitive trading costs but is less appropriate for beginners and those seeking broader protections or passive income options.

I've been trading with DLS Markets for the past six months. I started with a demo account and then switched to the ECN account right away since I prefer the transparency of raw spreads. The $6 commission per lot is clearly among the lowest I've encountered. While some brokers offer even lower fees, there might be hidden commissions or minimum monthly trading volume requirements. Overall, DLS Markets stands out for me in terms of trading costs. However, the platform does have some drawbacks. In my opinion, the main limitation is the lack of trading on underlying assets. You can only trade contracts for difference (CFDs). There are also no other earning opportunities offered by the broker, not even a typical referral program. I was also surprised by the absence of a call center. You can only contact tech support via tickets and live chat. While they seem to respond quickly, the lack of a phone number is still a bit inconvenient.

I've been trading with DLS Markets for two months and I'm overall satisfied. While they only offer CFDs, which is common these days, I haven't found it to be a major limitation. The spreads on my Standard account do start from the advertised 1.2 pips, as expected. The absence of commissions makes trading cost-effective, especially when combined with rebates from Traders Union. I trade CFDs on currencies, stocks, and indices, and the platform allows for a variety of strategies, which is a plus. The platform could benefit from a wider range of built-in analysis tools. It's important to note that DLS Markets has some regional restrictions, so be sure to check their availability in your area. Otherwise, I think the broker is a good option.
