Brief Look at Eurotrust

Eurotrust, one of Greece's oldest brokers, has been regulated by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) since 1991 and has been a member of the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), the largest stock exchange in Greece, for over 30 years. Serving private investors, businesses, and professional market participants, Eurotrust offers access to investments in stocks, mutual funds, fixed-income instruments, ETFs, and other securities listed on the ASE. Additionally, it provides access to 37 international stock exchanges across five continents for stock trading. The broker offers both short-term loans (up to 2 days) and long-term loans for buying securities, as well as capital management services and online trading.

Eurotrust has been in business for many years and is regulated by the Greek government, so I easily trusted them with my money. The fees are acceptable but only for investors with large trading volumes - from EUR 9,000 and above. If a trade is under EUR 3,000, you’ll pay EUR 30 in fee to the broker, plus clearing and custody fees. However, if you prioritize the broker's reliability and a wide range of trading instruments, Eurotrust is a good choice. They have no hidden fees - even withdrawals are free of any charges.

I have been a client of Eurotrust for about three years. I occasionally trade with other brokers but always return to Eurotrust because I trust them and the overall trading conditions suit me. A downside is the lack of a mobile trading app. You can trade on a smartphone, but only through a browser, which isn't very convenient. I am not a large investor, so my commission is 1% of the position size, which is generally fine.

Eurotrust provides access to both the main section of the Athens Stock Exchange and the alternative market, offering a diverse range of stocks. The minimum commission per position is EUR 2.50, but fees for international trades are much higher. I haven't had issues with withdrawing funds, although bank transfers can be slow. Eurotrust doesn't support more advanced payment methods, which I find inconvenient. When necessary, I transfer securities to other brokers. The process isn't very fast but is free from Eurotrust's side. Overall, I am satisfied with this broker's pricing policy.

Eurotrust is more reliable than many local brokers because it's listed on the Athens Stock Exchange and regulated by the state. Additionally, Eurotrust provides access to international markets, including the U.S., Canada, and the UK, all through one trading platform. It might not be the easiest platform to use, but it is stable and provides all the necessary market data, so you can adapt to it. Eurotrust doesn't offer free shares, bonuses, or trading competitions, but it consistently does its job well, which is what matters most to me.

I wanted to trade stocks listed on the ASE, so I needed a Greek broker. Eurotrust was a good fit for me in terms of fees and reliability. The company operates from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, allowing me to contact them in the evening when I handle investments after my main job. The trading fee varies based on the trade size, but the fees are low even for small positions. I wasn't sure if I could open an account online, so I had to visit the broker's office to fill out an application and provide documents. Access to international trading is granted upon request, with approvals usually within a day.
