TU Expert Advice

IBF (International Business Futures) provides access to the Forex market, CFDs on metals, oil, indices, and USD index, using both MetaTrader 4 and its proprietary IBFTrader platform. The broker supports both demo and live account types, operating with market execution and floating spreads. Notably, IBF segregates client funds as part of its regulatory compliance with BAPPEBTI, ensuring a degree of financial security. Trading is available without a minimum deposit, allowing flexibility for traders.

However, there are notable drawbacks, including a limited selection of assets and the absence of more robust regulatory protections like those in Tier-1 jurisdictions. Additionally, the broker does not offer negative balance protection. These characteristics suggest that while IBF may appeal to entry-level traders attracted to its risk management practices, more experienced or risk-averse traders may find other brokers with broader asset offerings and stricter regulatory protections more suitable.

IBF (International Business Futures) offers a proprietary trading platform and the classic MetaTrader 4—both support demo, trading with floating spreads, and market order execution. In my opinion, the selection of trading assets is limited. MT4 only offers 13 currency pairs, and among metals, only gold and silver are available. While these assets are sufficient for my needs, professional traders may find the selection lacking. The broker executes orders at an average speed, with occasional slippage. The minimum spread for the EUR/USD pair is 1.2 pips.

I opened an account with IBF (International Business Futures) three months ago. I trade on the MT4 platform since I am familiar with its features. Of course, I started with a demo account. I read that the broker has a very limited asset selection, so I needed to check if it offers the currency pairs I usually trade. EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and AUD/USD pairs are available, but I couldn't find GBP/EUR, which I also trade frequently. Spreads on all currencies are floating, with no additional commissions on trades. IBF processes withdrawals quickly.

On weekdays, the IBF website publishes technical analysis on Forex and popular CFDs, which helps me predict price movements and adjust my strategy accordingly. The broker does not restrict trading styles or strategies, so I can freely combine swing and carry trading. I test new strategies on the demo account, but cent accounts would be more effective. When I can't trade myself, I copy signals from MT4 community members. IBF never blocked my requested withdrawal, but I received the money with the deduction of commission. Apparently, the bank did it.

I was interested in testing IBF’s proprietary trading platform, the IBFTrader , since I don't really like MT4. However, I couldn't find an iOS version, so I had to download the mobile app on my old Huawei phone. This is probably why the speed wasn't great, and the platform occasionally froze. However, I was satisfied with the spread sizes, I didn't want to switch brokers, so I switched to MT4 instead, and things definitely improved. IBF is regulated, which gives me peace of mind about my funds. I resolve technical issues over the phone since I can't always visit the office.

IBF provides access to the international Forex market, one of the world's largest and most liquid markets. There are no trading fees, but the spread takes up a part of the funds. The broker offers educational materials and market analysis, and their website has an economic calendar. The broker operates legally under the supervision of government financial regulators. This might be why I've never had issues withdrawing funds. However, some drawbacks exist, such as the broker having a very limited selection of currency pairs and lack of online support.

Score:
We evaluate brokers' safety based on several key criteria. The highest value is placed on regulation, especially Tier 1 regulation, which ensures adherence to stringent standards set by top financial authorities like the FCA in the UK, CFTC in the US, CySEc and BaFin (EU) or ASIC (Australia). High scores are also given for participation in investor protection funds, which safeguard clients' funds in case of broker insolvency. Learn the assessment criteria
