TU Expert Advice

Anastasiia Chabaniuk

Author, Financial Expert at Traders Union

QuickTrade offers a diverse range of financial instruments through the MetaTrader 5 platform, catering to both Forex and CFD traders. It supports trading currency pairs, U.S. stocks, global indices, and commodities, with leverage up to 1:1000. Traders benefit from no minimum deposit requirements and the availability of various account types, including demo and Islamic accounts. The broker provides educational materials and copy trading services, enhancing the trading experience for both beginners and experienced traders.

However, QuickTrade faces some drawbacks, such as limited information on trading conditions and higher-than-average spreads on major currency pairs. Managed accounts and certain payment methods like credit cards are not available, which may affect traders looking for flexibility and advanced portfolio management. Overall, QuickTrade may appeal to traders prioritizing leverage and those comfortable with its offered payment systems and trading costs.

QuickTrade Trading Conditions

Your capital is at risk.  CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. A high percentage of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

QuickTrade didn't become my favorite broker because it doesn't offer a wide variety of products or payment methods. However, I often use it to trade currency pairs and CFDs on stocks because their commissions are fairly reasonable. For example, the spreads for the EUR/USD pair range from 1.5 to 3 pips. Although I've never seen the minimum advertised spreads of 1.2 pips, even the higher values are acceptable to me. QuickTrade is licensed, and its long-standing experience speaks to its honest operations. It's a shame they've closed access to Johannesburg Stock Exchange-listed stocks and have fully focused on the U.S. market. Another downside is the inability to deposit funds using a credit card. However, QuickTrade does offer a variety of other payment methods, such as wire transfer and PayPal.

QuickTrade accounts have floating, rather than fixed, spreads, which I prefer. Of course, they widen, but if you avoid trading during the release of important news, you can trade with quite acceptable commissions. QuickTrade doesn’t have additional fees as account maintenance, analytics, and trading signals are all free. The range of currencies is quite good, as not every broker offers more than 50 pairs. You can’t deposit or withdraw cryptocurrencies, which is a real drawback for me.

I like that QuickTrade offers comprehensive support. I can reach out to my manager directly and ask questions not only about technical issues but also about trading. The MT5 platform works fast and doesn’t glitch. I use not only the desktop version but also mobile apps in which the execution speed is almost always excellent. They don’t charge me fees when I withdraw funds. Money sent via Skrill arrives in my account within 1-2 minutes, so I can start trading right away.
