Brief Look at Aqrefx
Aqrefx was a proprietary trading firm registered in Canada, with its official website at aqrefx.com. It offered traders challenges with scalable accounts of up to $8 million and profit shares of up to 95%.
By mid-2023, however, Aqrefx began facing serious problems. Traders reported widespread payout delays and non-payments. The company cited a “platform migration” and “frozen funds in Stripe” as reasons but never provided timelines or real solutions.
Many clients said they had been waiting more than six months for withdrawals, while others never received any funds at all. The firm was also accused of inventing excuses to deny payouts, including account suspensions, canceled withdrawal requests, and supposed bot-related violations.
Today the Aqrefx website is offline, and its social media accounts have been inactive since early 2024. No announcements have been made about bankruptcy or rebranding, leaving traders unable to recover deposits or receive promised payouts.
