TU Expert Advice

Anastasiia Chabaniuk

Author, Financial Expert at Traders Union

Purple Trading provides Forex and CFDs trading through MetaTrader 4 and cTrader platforms, and presents different account types tailored for both novice and professional traders. The broker is licensed by CySEC and allows investments in various asset classes including real Italian stocks and ETFs. Traders benefit from tight spreads on ECN and STP account types, no deposit or withdrawal fees, and options for passive income through PAMM accounts. With trading tools and a focus on client safety, it offers a supportive trading environment.

However, Purple Trading's disadvantages include high leverage being limited to experienced retail and professional clients, and restricted accessibility outside the European Economic Area, including the U.S. The lack of trading contests or bonuses may not appeal to those seeking added incentives. Therefore, its offerings may be more suitable for traders looking for regulated environments, tight spreads, and diverse trading instruments but may not be ideal for those seeking extensive bonuses or broader geographical accessibility.

Trade with this broker, if:
  • You are a beginner trader. Purple Trading offers educational resources, a demo account, and low minimum deposits, creating a supportive environment for newcomers to learn and start trading.
  • You prefer competitive spreads and flexible account options. Purple Trading provides STP/ECN execution with competitive spreads and a choice of account types featuring different commission structures, allowing you to tailor your trading experience.
  • Copy trading interests you. Purple Trading offers a copy trading function, enabling you to follow experienced traders and potentially benefit from their expertise.
Do not trade with this broker, if:
  • Limited asset selection is a concern. Purple Trading primarily focuses on forex and CFDs, offering a smaller selection of other assets compared to some competitors.

I chose Purple Trading because of its CySEC license and the $500 minimum deposit. For me, it's important that the broker is regulated and offers negative balance protection. The absence of deposit and withdrawal fees is a plus, although the range of instruments is not as wide as with some other companies.

I have mixed feelings about Purple Trading. On the one hand, there is a fairly high minimum deposit, low leverage, and glitches on the platform. On the other hand, I have been working with Purple Trading for almost two years. I earn profits and the company withdraws the money. There were even positive slippages during trading. So I rate the company normal.

Be very careful with PurpleTrading, because this is a standard bucket shop, not a broker. They lure you in by promising stable earnings in the financial market and will even help you with this. Supposedly they will help you make a fortune, but in reality they just earn by draining your money. I advise you not to open an account with PurpleTrading.

At Purple Trading, platform slippage occurs and trades can be closed without participation of a trader. Also, for your withdrawal request to be approved, you have to provide new documents and this list is constantly growing. Also, the user agreement and trading conditions are subject to change without notice. In such a situation, traders must decide for themselves whether to trust their money to Purple Trading.

Purple Trading does not allow you to make normal money. This is where trade manipulation occurs. Judge for yourself: where do upward quotes come from during a downtrend, when there are no such quotes anywhere, not with a single broker? And the history of quotes from Purple Trading cannot be verified. Technical support, of course, replies that Purple Trading quotes are different from others, since they have their own liquidity providers. But 60 pips against the trend does not fit into anything.

Purple Trading has constant issues with the trading terminal. Orders can take almost a minute to open. This is the biggest problem I've faced in trading. How can you make a profit when prices are much worse after a minute? Also, requotes prevent opening trades. In general, I believe Purple Trading uses technologies or manipulates its platform.

Purple Trading does not fulfill its obligations to its clients. I was promised good trading without any problems. But unfortunately, this company had good conditions only in words. Although the cTrader platform is good, it is not possible to trade on this platform at Purple Trading. It takes a very long time to open trades, a lot of errors appear during the operation of the platform. I tried many times to pay the broker's support service attention to the operation of the platform, but they completely ignored my requests.
