TU Expert Verdict

Anton Kharitonov

Chief Analytics Officer

Sway Funded is a proprietary trading firm offering simulated accounts from $1,000 up to $200,000 through one-phase, two-phase, and three-phase challenge programs. Trading is carried out on the Liquid Charts and Liquid Charts Pro platforms, with access to Forex, cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices, and commodities in derivative form. The minimum challenge entry cost starts at $10, and the fee is refundable upon successful completion. Notable features include an 80% base profit split that can increase to 90%, copy trading and weekend positions allowed, spreads from 0.0 pips with $7 per lot for Forex, and leverage up to 1:50.

Some disadvantages include a 1.5% withdrawal fee, no instant funding programs, a required minimum of four trading days per challenge stage, and limited support for bank transfers and PayPal. The absence of CFDs and futures, plus no phone customer support, may also be relevant concerns. Sway Funded may best suit traders interested in flexible evaluation processes and derivative trading, but those seeking instant access, lower costs, or wider withdrawal and instrument options may prefer alternatives.

During the withdrawal of funds you can not open transactions, so you have to guess the moment to make a request. But withdrawals go through without delays, I request in ETH. I like the idea of credits - now I plan to replenish my balance in advance and not to think about payments. I trade actively, and I am glad that they do not limit my style - I can scalp, hold positions on weekends, use robots. The main thing is not to break the rules. The risk control system is strict but fair.

Chose Sway Funded because of the low entry threshold - paid $59 for a No Consistency account with a $5000 balance. This was my first experience with a prop company, so the low cost was an advantage. The rules sometimes seem too strict, especially the restrictions on opening positions during news. But on the other hand, everything is transparent, and if you read the terms and conditions, there are no unpleasant surprises. Copying trades turned out to be allowed - this is a big plus, as many proprietary companies prohibit it.

At first I wanted to choose the No Consistency Challenge, but in the end I paid for Regular - it seemed more balanced. I was surprised that you can participate in several Challenges at once. I didn't know about it until I read the FAQs. Payouts come clearly and are processed within a day. By the way, the fact that the executing broker is regulated (through Pulse Markets) added credibility. Too bad there is no account scaling. It would be interesting to grow within the platform and not just take on new Challenges.

Liquid Charts platform looks modern, works stably. I trade mainly currencies and cryptocurrencies - execution is fast, spreads are tight. Support answers, but it is not always clear where to ask a specific question - I have to write in Discord. On the Rapid Challenge, I met the goal in a couple of weeks. The terms are generally adequate, but the credit system was a bit confusing at first. But then it turned out to be convenient - I bought a second challenge without re-entering the card.

I passed the Regular Challenge - it was not easy, especially with the daily drawdown limit. In the second phase I had to retake it, because one day was above 40% profit and the goal increased. A bit unexpected, but it was my own fault - I did not read the terms carefully. I liked that they do not rush with deadlines, you can work at your own pace. Withdrawal came in USDT in a day, as promised. The commission of 1.5% is not critical, but I don't like the fact that you can't trade during the processing of the request.

Trading is not allowed during payout processing, so timing your request is important. Withdrawals are quick, and I use ETH. I like the credit system and plan to preload it in the future. As an active trader, I value the freedom to use any strategy. The firm allows scalping, weekend positions, and automated bots, as long as you follow the rules. The risk management system is strict but reasonable.

Detailed review of Sway Funded

Sway Funded allows each client to participate in up to five challenges simultaneously and does not impose a limit on the total amount of capital under management. The company does not offer instant funding programs but allows evaluations to be completed in 4 to 12 trading days (four days per stage). There is no upper time limit for completing the evaluation.

Key facts about Sway Funded:

  • Over 10,800 clients;

  • Total assets: $752 million;

  • Base profit split: 80%;

  • Advanced split: 90%;

  • Three challenge types.

Sway Funded uses a unique risk management system

Sway Funded requires traders to show consistent performance and apply effective risk management. The company discourages sharp profit spikes that resemble luck or gambling. During each stage of the challenge, a rule is enforced: no single trading day may account for more than a set percentage of the total profit. The threshold is 30% during the evaluation phase and 40% during the verification and funded phases.

If this threshold is exceeded, the evaluation is not marked as failed. Instead, the profit target is automatically increased to bring the account back into compliance. The client dashboard displays current progress and applicable limits, making it easier for traders to monitor their performance. In the final phase, if there is no fixed profit target, the rule is applied based on the highest recorded daily profit.

Useful Features:

  • The economic calendar on the client dashboard allows traders to track important news and events.

  • Market data from TradingView provides real-time asset quotes.

  • The challenge fee is refunded if no rules or requirements are violated.

  • The blog offers practical guidance and educational materials for beginner traders.

Advantages:

1

Minimum evaluation duration of four days per stage;

2

All trading strategies are allowed if rules are followed;

3

Initial fees are reimbursed after a successful payout;

4

Multiple cryptocurrency withdrawal options (BTC, ETH, USDT);

5

Payouts available upon reaching $10 in profit;

6

Active trader community and responsive support.
