GokuMarket, a cryptocurrency exchange founded in Hong Kong in 2019, has a tarnished reputation. The domain, registered in 2019, was last updated in February 2021. The exchange's social media announced its launch on November 13, 2019.
A Twitter group created in February 2023 openly accuses GokuMarket of being a scam. The official GokuMarket account ignores these accusations, lending credence to the scam claims. Users complain about being unable to withdraw funds and receiving no response from the platform.
There is also a company with a similar name, GOKUMARKET OU, registered in Estonia. According to the Estonian registry, it was created in December 2019. GokuMarket adopted the name of this Estonian company, does not maintain proper accounts, and only has two employees, raising further concerns.
Due to these factors, GokuMarket is considered a scam broker that should not be trusted. As a result, GokuMarket was blacklisted by the crypto community in 2024.
