Anton Kharitonov

Chief Analytics Officer

Thanachart Securities provides access to trading stocks, stock indices, derivatives, mutual funds, bonds, and Structured Notes through popular platforms such as Settrade Streaming, Think Trade mobile applications, and the Wealth Platform. Regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand, the broker offers Cash, Cash Balance, Credit Balance, and Derivatives Accounts, with a minimum deposit of THB 50,000. Clients can use margin lending to leverage their investments up to 50% of an asset’s value, trade small-sized orders starting from THB 1, and benefit from block trading strategies and investment plans with various risk profiles.

However, a notable drawback is the broker’s restriction to domestic assets, as Thanachart Securities does not provide access to trading foreign stocks or ETFs. Other disadvantages include a high minimum deposit requirement and a mandatory minimum commission of THB 50 per day. With its strong local regulatory oversight and comprehensive Thai market coverage, this broker is best suited for investors focused on Thailand’s financial instruments rather than those seeking international diversification or low entry costs.
