Brief Look at AAATrade
AAATrade, a Cyprus-based brokerage firm licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and registered in several European countries, previously offered a wide range of trading and investment services. In April 2024, the company voluntarily surrendered its CySEC license. Following that decision, its operations ceased, and the company’s website became inaccessible.
AAATrade received numerous client complaints related to delayed withdrawals, persistent prompts to make additional deposits, and unexpected fees charged upon closing positions. Users on review platforms and trading forums also reported being unable to close their accounts and noted a sharp decline in customer service quality. The absence of clear communication and the sudden loss of access to the trading platform have raised concerns about potential insolvency or a deliberate business closure.
Based on these developments, it appears that AAATrade is no longer operational. A combination of license withdrawal, eroded client trust, and failure to sustain core services likely contributed to its shutdown. The possibility of a covert bankruptcy or rebranding under a different legal entity cannot be ruled out.
