Bybit launches WCT Puzzle Hunt with 400,000 tokens in prizes
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has unveiled an interactive new campaign called the WCT Puzzle Hunt, inviting users to complete challenges and earn their share of a 400,000 WCT prize pool.
The event, which runs from April 23 through May 7, combines community engagement with spot trading and rewards participants for completing puzzle-based milestones.
Event mechanics and participation
To join, users must register through the official event page. Once registered, participants can begin collecting puzzle pieces through three primary methods:
Inviting Friends: Sharing the event with others and inviting new users yields puzzle pieces.
Making Deposits: Net deposits into the user’s Bybit account contribute directly to puzzle progress.
WCT Spot Trading: Every trade involving WCT on the spot market increases the user's collection of puzzle pieces.
Participants are incentivized to complete segments of the puzzle for a shot at lucrative rewards.
Prize Structure: Draws and Grand Awards
There are two key rewards mechanisms:
Lucky Draw: Completing three consecutive puzzle pieces grants access to a lucky draw with up to three entries and a guaranteed win for every participant.
Grand Prize: Users who manage to complete the full puzzle will be eligible to receive 200 WCT, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 300 qualified participants.
Bybit’s latest event combines game mechanics with trading activity to boost user participation while promoting WalletConnect (WCT), a decentralized protocol enabling secure wallet connections across blockchain networks.
The WCT Puzzle Hunt demonstrates how Bybit continues to experiment with gamified marketing strategies to enhance user retention and engagement. With a strong prize pool and accessible participation requirements, the campaign may attract both novice and seasoned traders looking to earn by trading and sharing.
