eToro review: Platform adds 10 new euro-denominated assets
Broker expands euro-based asset lineup

eToro has expanded its range of euro-denominated investment instruments, adding 10 new EUR-based assets to its platform as part of a broader effort to enhance accessibility for European investors. The move reflects growing demand for local-currency exposure amid ongoing volatility in global foreign exchange markets and heightened sensitivity to currency conversion costs.

According to FNG, the newly added assets are denominated in euros rather than US dollars, allowing eligible users to trade and invest without being exposed to unnecessary FX conversion fees. The expansion brings the total number of EUR-based instruments on eToro to more than 50, reinforcing the platform’s focus on regional customization.

Focus on currency efficiency for European users

The new assets include a mix of equities and exchange-traded products listed on European exchanges, giving users the ability to diversify portfolios while maintaining euro exposure. By offering instruments priced directly in EUR, eToro aims to reduce friction for investors whose base currency is the euro, particularly during periods of dollar volatility.

eToro noted that euro-denominated assets are increasingly important for long-term investors seeking to manage currency risk alongside market risk. The update also aligns with regulatory and market trends favoring transparency in pricing and cost structures.

Broader platform strategy

The addition of euro-based assets forms part of eToro’s wider strategy to expand localized investment options across regions. In recent years, the platform has increased its coverage of non-US markets, responding to rising participation from European retail investors.

eToro continues to position itself as a multi-asset investment platform, offering access to stocks, ETFs, commodities, currencies and digital assets through a single interface. The platform is also known for its social investing features, which allow users to observe and replicate the strategies of other investors.

eToro and investor access

Founded in 2007, eToro serves millions of users globally and emphasizes ease of use, portfolio transparency and diversified market access. The platform supports both active traders and long-term investors, with tools designed to simplify participation across asset classes.
