Gate.io has introduced extended pre-market and after-hours trading for U.S. stocks and ETFs, enabling users to access markets beyond standard trading hours within its platform.

Gate.io has launched an extended-hours trading feature for U.S. stocks and ETFs, allowing trading both before and after standard market sessions. According to the official update, this service spans a 16×5 schedule and covers more than 10,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs listed on NYSE, Nasdaq, and other leading exchanges, and it supports fractional-share trading with minimums as low as 0.01 shares. No overnight fees or funding rates are applied during these extended hours, and users must update to Gate App version 8.21.5 or later to access the feature.
In addition, Gate.io has introduced five perpetual contracts linked to AI and technology companies, with leveraged trading options available. The platform’s recent changes are part of a broader effort to integrate traditional financial products and digital asset derivatives within one ecosystem.
Gate.io is a multifunctional cryptocurrency exchange providing spot and margin trading, as well as futures and ETF trading across a wide range of digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, and its own GateToken (GT). The platform features tools such as cloud mining, crypto loans and lending, customizable trading strategies, and a TradingView-powered terminal.
