Gate.io detailed the mechanics of its Event Points Campaign in the Event Market, which allows users to earn scratch cards and Event Points by trading BTC and ETH price-movement Event Contracts. Enhanced rewards are available through a '2x' mechanism on certain contracts, and these points feed into a weekly leaderboard that distributes a points-based prize pool, while a separate Lucky Prize Pool draws from card activity for additional rewards. Users do not need to register separately and participation is tied to eligible trades, with the campaign cycles resetting weekly and all points and cards expiring at the end of each cycle.

To join Gate.io’s Event Points Campaign, ensure your Gate.io account has USDT, then go to Event Markets in the Gate.io app and transfer USDT if needed. Trade eligible BTC or ETH Event Contracts—standard contracts earn a scratch card for every 20 USDT traded, while 2× marked contracts earn one for every 10 USDT. Scratch cards may reveal USDT prizes or Event Points that count toward a weekly leaderboard, and all participation is automatic through trading.
