Quantum-Si sequences first customer samples on Proteus platform in major milestone
Quantum-Si has sequenced its first customer samples using the Proteus platform, signaling a pivotal achievement for the company.
The move is expected to advance the adoption of next-generation protein sequencing technologies, as the firm brings Proteus closer to commercial maturity. Quantum-Si announced the update via a company press release, underlining its focus on accelerating breakthroughs in proteomics. Proteus is positioned to reshape the protein analysis market by providing researchers and laboratories with advanced sequencing capabilities that could improve biomarker discovery and clinical research.
Quantum-Si previously introduced single molecule sequencing to improve detection of post-translational modifications in protein analysis workflows, according to a past company announcement.
