Biomea Fusion announced that it is now enrolling adult participants for the COVALENT-212 clinical trial, which will evaluate the investigational drug icovamenib in individuals with type 2 diabetes.

Eligible participants must be between 18 and 70 years old, have a confirmed diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, and currently be taking semaglutide (Ozempic). This move underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to exploring novel treatments for diabetes.
