Intuitive Machines, Inc. expands with LanterisSpace acquisition to target recurring space infrastructure
Intuitive Machines, Inc. announced a significant shift toward building persistent, recurring space infrastructure, following its recent acquisition of LanterisSpace.
The company revealed its plans on National Space Day, underscoring the transition from isolated space missions to a sustainable, multi-domain prime model. By integrating next-generation satellite capabilities from LanterisSpace, Intuitive Machines, Inc. positions itself to deliver advanced and ongoing space solutions.
The company previously aided NASA Artemis II by tracking the Orion spacecraft using its space network and ground stations. Intuitive Machines has also accelerated work on its Lunar Terrain Vehicle to support sustained NASA lunar operations. These initiatives highlight the firm’s continued expansion in supporting long-term space activity.
