Investar closes Texas branches May 9

Investar Holding Corp will shut all North Texas locations on Saturday, May 9, as part of its integration process.

The company announced that online banking services will also have limited functionality from May 9 to May 10. Customers are advised to plan accordingly and are thanked for their understanding during this transition period. Details regarding the full reopening and enhanced services will be communicated once the integration is complete.

Investar previously said it would close North Texas branches and restrict online banking services during the regional integration process, according to an earlier notice on temporary service disruptions. The company has also been hiring for Commercial Credit Analyst II roles in Baton Rouge, Houston, and Southlake to support firm growth, according to a separate recruitment announcement. Both moves come as Investar continues its Texas expansion.
