Majority of supply chain firms adopt AI without structural change, Logility Supply Chain Solutions, Inc warns
AI adoption outpaces true change

Just 17 percent of supply chain organizations are actively pursuing real operating model transformation, while a striking 83 percent are applying artificial intelligence to processes not originally designed for such technology, Logility Supply Chain Solutions, Inc reports.

This gap may be a key reason why many companies are not seeing the expected results from their AI investments. The company’s latest newsletter offers analysis on which actions drive measurable impact for the remainder of 2026, urging supply chain leaders to reconsider their approach to AI adoption ahead of H2.

Earlier this year, Logility introduced Orchestration Center, a solution aimed at accelerating actions and reducing process delays in supply chain management here. In a separate survey, the company found that 65 percent of supply chain professionals are making AI and GenAI mandatory in their technology adoption strategies here. These moves come as companies continue to seek gains from new technologies while adapting longstanding processes.
