Researchers at Cytek Biosciences explore spectral flow cytometry for vaccine response in the elderly — Cytek studies vaccine markers

Cytek Biosciences has announced findings published in the journal Immunity & Ageing, where researchers used spectral flow cytometry to determine if certain T cell populations can predict the efficacy of influenza, SARS-CoV-2, and pneumococcal vaccines in older adults.

The study explored advanced immunological profiling to better understand age-related changes in immune response and identify potential biomarkers that could optimize vaccination strategies for the aging population.
