POWI is currently trading at $71.15, sitting below the MA-20 ($75.09) and MA-50 ($76.45) but well above the long-term MA-200 ($53.12). This suggests short- and medium-term downside pressure remains, while the long-term trend retains bullish structure. The Ichimoku Kijun on D1 is at $78.19, clearly above the last price and thus acts as immediate resistance. For near-term support, look to the MA-100 ($65.98), with the MA-200 ($53.12) as a key longer-term support. Near-term resistance is defined by the MA-20 ($75.09), while the Ichimoku Kijun ($78.19) serves as key resistance.
Momentum readings present a mixed picture: MACD on D1 signals downside, while ADX reads as neutral and low, implying a weak or non-trending tape. RSI and Stoch RSI are neutral to slightly bearish, with the former at 44.95 and the latter lacking a strong oversold or overbought condition, though BBP shows "oversold" readings and sellers have a slight edge intraday. CCI and the Awesome Oscillator are both neutral and do not confirm a strong directional move. Over the past week, POWI has risen $0.70 (0.99%) from a prev_week_close of $70.45. The current price is in the upper part of this week’s range, and weekly volatility stands at 10.17%. The overall tone is of consolidation with moderate recovery off the weekly low, as short-term oscillators and momentum do not align on direction.
Looking ahead, the expected price range for the next week is $69.00–$74.50, staying in line with recent volatility but beneath major resistance levels. This band is well above the 52-week low ($30.86) but remains far from the yearly high ($91.18). Weekly (W1) technical signals are aligned to the upside: MA-50, MA-100, MA-200, RSI, and ADX all indicate "Buy," and MACD on W1 signals "Strong Buy." This assigns a very high probability (more than 80%) to a move higher, while a decline is less likely. In the baseline scenario, POWI remains rangebound between $69.00 and $74.50. The bullish case features a breakout above $74.50 targeting the Kijun and MA-20 area near $78.00. The bearish scenario sees loss of $69.00 support, exposing downside toward the $66–$67 region. Overall, short-term risks are balanced by a constructive medium-term technical backdrop.
Previously it was reported that Power Integrations maintained a broadly bullish technical outlook despite recent periods of volatility. In light of the most recent developments, investors should monitor for any significant shift in momentum that could signal a change to the prevailing scenario.
