Ribbon Communications expands datacenter connectivity for PT JLM on Indonesia Singapore route
Ribbon connects Indonesia Singapore data centers

Ribbon Communications announced an agreement to provide PT JLM with enhanced datacenter connectivity on the Indonesia to Singapore route. The new solution promises increased capacity and reduced power consumption for PT JLM’s operations.

The initiative is expected to address growing demand for high-performance and energy-efficient datacenter interconnection across Southeast Asia. Ribbon Communications aims to strengthen network reliability and efficiency for regional carriers with this deployment.

Earlier this year, Ribbon Communications projected that AI-powered automation and cloud native infrastructure will be key drivers for autonomous networks, according to a company statement. The company also hosted an INSIGHTS event with participants from HSBC, Amazon Web Services, and TM Forum in September, bringing together industry leaders to discuss network technology.
