POWI is trading at $61.15, well below its MA-20 ($72.42) and MA-50 ($76.27), indicating strong short- and medium-term pressure from sellers, though it remains above the long-term MA-200 ($53.75), which acts as foundational support. The Ichimoku Kijun level on D1 is $77.30, positioned as immediate resistance above the current price. Near-term support is seen at MA-200 ($53.75), with key support at MA-100 ($66.84). Immediate resistance is set by the Kijun ($77.30), and key resistance sits at MA-50 ($76.27).
Momentum on D1 remains bearish, with MACD giving a Sell signal and ADX reading at 15.59, signaling weak trend strength. Several oscillators (RSI at 36.04, Stoch RSI at 0.00, and CCI at -119.86) indicate oversold conditions, while negative BBP (-0.22) confirms sellers dominate intraday momentum. The AO direction is neutral, not confirming the current downtrend. POWI is trading at $61.15, down from $63.46 a week ago, reflecting a 3.47% decline since the previous weekly close. The price is now at the very bottom of the weekly range, and weekly volatility stands at 18.11%. The tone for the week is a steady decline from the high. In today's session, a sharp drop of 3.65% underlines continued selling pressure.
For the coming week, a realistic price range adjusted for the recent volatility is expected between $58.00 and $65.00, keeping the price comfortably between the 52-week low ($30.86) and high ($91.18). The probability of a further price decrease is very high (more than 80%), while a sustained upward reversal appears much less likely. The baseline scenario sees POWI moving sideways within this corridor, as buyers test long-term support. A bullish scenario would require the price to break and hold above $65.00, with momentum strengthening and resistance at MA-100 and Kijun giving way. The bearish scenario unfolds if sellers push the price below $58.00, opening the way to a retest of the MA-200 and possibly lower, especially if bearish momentum persists.
Previously it was reported that Power Integrations faced persistent downside momentum, with technical signals favoring sellers amid cautious sentiment. This article adds a fresh perspective for investors, emphasizing the importance of monitoring for signs of sustained stabilization or potential reversal as current market conditions evolve.
