RKLB is trading well below key moving averages, with the current price of $58.60 under the MA-20 ($75.93), MA-50 ($99.34), and MA-200 ($77.78), confirming strong short-, medium-, and long-term downward trends. The Ichimoku Kijun on D1 is at $82.92, providing immediate resistance. The nearest support is clustered around MA-10 ($66.29), with key support at MA-20 ($75.93). Immediate resistance is the Ichimoku Kijun ($82.92), followed by the MA-200 ($77.78) as a key upper barrier.
Momentum signals on D1 are bearish, with MACD indicating strong downside ($-11.79) and ADX at 25.10 showing a trend with some conviction. RSI (29.95), CCI ($-109.62), and Stoch RSI (0.00) all indicate oversold conditions, while BBP ($-5.87) highlights clear seller dominance. The Awesome Oscillator is neutral and does not add to trend confirmation. RKLB has fallen $5.31 (8.31%) in the past week, declining from a previous weekly close of $63.91 to a current level near the very bottom of the weekly range. Weekly volatility stands at 21.60%, with a persistent decline from the early high. In today’s session, the price is sharply lower by 8.28%, emphasizing intensified downward momentum.
For the upcoming week, the expected range is $58.00 to $64.46, adjusted for recent volatility and anchored near the 52-week low ($37.61) but well below the 52-week high ($151.00). The probability of a price increase is very low (less than 20%), while a further decline is much more likely, as confirmed by bearish signals on RSI-W1, ADX-W1, MACD-W1, and MA-50-W1. The baseline scenario sees RKLB consolidating between $58.00 and $64.46. A bullish scenario would require breaking above resistance, opening potential toward $67.50. Conversely, a sustained drop below $58.00 could see renewed pressure toward longer-term support near the yearly lows.
Earlier, analysts noted that Rocket Lab was experiencing pronounced downside pressure amid sustained bearish momentum and high volatility. The current article adds a new dimension to this outlook, underscoring the importance of monitoring any shifts in sentiment that could define the prevailing scenario for investors in the coming sessions.
