Hut 8 Corp warns of scam investment offers falsely using company name in Uganda — Hut 8 Corp warns of Uganda scam

Hut 8 Corp has issued a warning about fraudulent groups falsely claiming to represent the company in Uganda and soliciting investments.

According to the company, these actors are not authorized, and Hut 8 Corp has no operations or legal representatives in Uganda. The firm also clarified that it never solicits investments through platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or Facebook, urging the public to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to such scams.

Hut 8 Corp has recently focused on expanding its AI data center presence. The company reported Q2 2026 results showing growth driven by its power-first strategy at its initial two AI campuses, according to company disclosures. Hut 8 Corp has stated that it does not operate in Uganda or solicit investments through social media platforms.
