Rackspace and AMD launch AI platform

Rackspace Technology has announced a collaboration with AMD to provide an open, high-performance computing platform aimed at supporting governed artificial intelligence operations for enterprises.

The initiative is designed to establish a secure and accountable environment for deploying AI in both sovereign and hybrid settings, enabling organizations to scale AI projects in production with oversight and control.

Rackspace Technology was recently named as a provider for NVIDIA and PalantirTech's new sovereign AI stack for supply chain deployment. The company has also highlighted that changes within the VMware ecosystem are prompting organizations to revisit strategies for workload placement and IT cost planning. These developments come as firms consider new infrastructure options for AI and IT operations.
