Vuzix announced plans to showcase its Causeway optical interconnect at OCPSummit26 in San Jose, scheduled for October 12 to 15. The company will provide live demonstrations of the technology, which utilizes waveguide-based optical interconnection supporting 19,200 optical data channels for CPO, NPO, and AI-scale computing.

Vuzix invited interested parties to book meetings during the event. The update highlights the companys continued push into advanced computing and optical technologies.

Vuzix has recently focused on developing wearable technology, with the company reporting that its smart glasses reduce new worker proficiency time to 90 minutes to address staffing challenges, according to an earlier release. In July, Vuzix began shipping its SHRIKE display for evaluation, featuring 3,000 nits brightness and outward-light reduction technology, as detailed in its product launch update. These steps reflect Vuzix’s ongoing efforts to advance optical and display solutions in industrial and technology markets.
