Intuitive Machines joins NASA mission

Intuitive Machines has announced its participation as an industry partner for NASA's upcoming nuclear-powered space exploration efforts. The company revealed it is providing its Power and Propulsion Element (PPE) for the SR-1 Freedom mission.

The PPE, which is based on the IM-1300 platform, is being adapted to serve as the nuclear electric propulsion component for the mission. This development highlights Intuitive Machines' expanding role in advanced space technology and infrastructure.
