Enterprise AI products and rollout timeline

As reported by Reuters, Box on Thursday expanded its partnership with Nvidia and introduced Box Context Retrieval, a search engine built on Nvidia's Nemotron models. The company said the product is set to become generally available to Enterprise Advanced customers early next year.

Box said the search engine can improve search accuracy by 20%, reduce token usage by 90% and make question-answering four times faster. The company also unveiled Box Architect, a tool that lets teams create automated workflows by describing a process in plain language, with a beta rollout to Enterprise Advanced customers planned for the fourth quarter.

Security features and enterprise software implications

Box also announced new threat protection features targeting bulk downloads, account takeovers and mass deletion. Those protections are due to become available to Enterprise Advanced and Shield customers early next year.

The product expansion underscores how enterprise software providers are adding AI search, workflow automation and security controls to make corporate data more usable while managing operational risk. For Box, the wider Nvidia tie-up strengthens its push to embed generative AI more deeply into content management tools for business customers.
