Flare price prediction for 2030: Can XRPFi adoption push FLR to $0.15?

Flare price prediction for 2030: Can XRPFi adoption push FLR to $0.15?
Flare price chart shows extended downtrend near $0.0097 support

Flare Network crossed a structural inflection point on January 30 when the 36-month FlareDrops program concluded, completing distribution of 24.2 billion FLR. Annual new issuance is now capped at 5 billion FLR, cutting inflation from roughly 10% to 5%, while monthly burns of 66 million FLR add deflationary pressure. The shift from distribution-driven to utility-driven tokenomics is the most consequential structural change since mainnet launch.

Highlights

  • Flare currently trades near $0.0097, below all major EMAs with RSI at 44.45 indicating weak bearish momentum.
  • Long-term forecasts for 2030 range from $0.08 to $0.15 if institutional XRPFi adoption scales and FBTC/FDOGE expansion succeeds.
  • FLR benefits from FlareDrops conclusion, FXRP approaching 100 million supply, VivoPower $100 million XRP commitment, and 70% of supply staked.

FXRP, Flare's 1:1 wrapped XRP representation, is approaching 100 million tokens with most already locked in DeFi protocols. On February 5, Flare launched the FXRP/USDH spot market on Hyperliquid, marking the first time XRP spot exposure was available on the platform. Firelight Finance attracted 14 million FXRP staked within 90 minutes of launch, hitting $30 million in deposits within hours. Nasdaq-listed VivoPower International committed $100 million in XRP to Flare's ecosystem through the Firelight protocol.

Technical structure shows extended downtrend near support

The daily chart reveals FLR in a sustained downtrend below all major EMAs clustered between $0.0098 and $0.0146, confirming bearish control. RSI at 44.45 indicates neutral to bearish momentum approaching oversold territory.

The price action has formed consecutive lower highs since October 2025, with the current $0.0097 level representing critical support. A breakdown below $0.0090 risks accelerating losses toward $0.0080, while a reclaim of the 20 EMA at $0.0098 is the minimum requirement to signal any stabilization.

Flare's 2030 outlook depends on XRPFi scaling

Looking ahead to 2030, Flare's case hinges on whether it becomes essential financial infrastructure for non-EVM assets. Co-founder Hugo Philion has projected up to 5 billion XRP minted on Flare as a near-term target, comparable to Ripple's hot wallet holdings. If institutional adoption compounds and FAssets expands to Bitcoin and Dogecoin, FLR could realistically trade between $0.08 and $0.15 by 2030.

70 % of circulating FLR is staked or delegated, reducing liquid supply significantly. Enosys CDP enables XRP-backed stablecoin minting, while Spectra launched fixed-rate yield trading. Everything Blockchain Inc. signed an MOU with Flare to explore XRP yield strategies. Institutional access to FXRP and FLR staking launched in February 2026 with custody through BitGo and Fireblocks. The FAssets roadmap expanding to FBTC and FDOGE could extend Flare's interoperability beyond the XRP ecosystem.

What investors should monitor

FXRP supply growth toward Philion's 5 billion target is the clearest adoption signal. Institutional inflows through Firelight and partner protocols provide real demand validation. Investors should track the Flare Foundation's Q1 2026 governance proposals around FLR's role in network security and protocol revenue sharing. FBTC and FDOGE FAssets launch timelines matter for ecosystem expansion. TVL growth beyond the current $200 million signals genuine protocol scaling.

Analyst Anton Kharitonov stated:

"FlareDrops ending removes the structural overhang that suppressed FLR for 3 years. If institutional XRPFi scales to billions and FBTC expands the addressable market, current prices represent compelling long-term value."

By 2030, FLR's valuation will reflect whether Flare became the programmable layer for non-EVM assets or remained a niche XRP ecosystem play.

Recently we discussed that Flare launched FXRP spot trading on Hyperliquid, marking the first XRP spot exposure on the platform while Firelight Finance attracted $30 million in deposits within hours of launch.
