Ecosystem revenue boosts sentiment as major partnerships expand

Arbitrum has staged a significant rebound following the launch and rapid expansion of Robinhood Chain, which utilizes its technology and has recently recorded $4.45 million in daily fees as of September 2, 2026. This activity has contributed to the Arbitrum ecosystem through the Expansion Program, allocating 10% of Robinhood Chain's net protocol revenue to the DAO treasury and developer guild. The ecosystem's momentum is further highlighted by new institutional partnerships in 2026 with MasterCard, PayPal, LG, Cash App, Venmo, and Ramp.

Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, cautions that the 46.07% rally in Arbitrum is mostly driven by hype from Robinhood Chain’s rapid growth and big name partnerships. He notes the project’s fee generation is impressive, but warns the overbought signals on RSI and CCI show clear exhaustion risk. The bullish technical structure is undermined by a lingering long-term bearish trend of MA-50 against MA-200. Kharitonov highlights that, despite strong buyer intraday control, the sizable price gap and excessive momentum are red flags for a pullback. "Today’s gains are unsustainable in their current form — I expect volatility to remain high and see meaningful correction risk above $0.2051," he says.
Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, views Arbitrum’s surge as proof of rising institutional confidence and ecosystem expansion. He points to new partnerships with MasterCard, PayPal, and others as strong signals of mainstream adoption. The bullish structure remains intact above all key moving averages. With robust fee generation and DAO treasury inflows, further growth is anticipated if price breaks $0.2051. "Arbitrum offers multiple setups for further upside — I see continued opportunity as momentum aligns with long-term ecosystem drivers," he says.
Parshwa Turakhiya, analyst, highlights the current trading range and sharp intraday moves in ARB/USD. Sentiment is firmly positive as buyers dominate, yet overbought signals flash short-term caution. He notes daily volatility at 15.74% creates both risk and quick setups for nimble traders. Turakhiya sees potential for a breakout if $0.2051 is cleared, but a drop below $0.1831 would shift the bias. "Momentum is king here, but traders should respect the range and watch for reversal signals within the next sessions," he says.

Strong support holds as momentum remains stretched and bullish

ARB/USD is trading above the 20-day, 50-day, and 200-day moving averages ($0.1012, $0.0889, and $0.0984 respectively), confirming a strong short-, medium-, and long-term bullish structure in the pair. The near-term ceiling is at $0.2051, with the near-term floor at $0.1831; the distant bullish alignment of these moving averages and the Ichimoku Kijun level ($0.1095) further support the prevailing uptrend, though the MA-50 vs MA-200 setup shows a lingering longer-term bearish trend. Momentum signals remain robust, with the MACD and Average Directional Index (ADX) both forecasting buy signals. The Relative Strength Index (RSI), Stochastic RSI, and Commodity Channel Index (CCI) all register overbought conditions, indicating stretched momentum. Bull/Bear Power (BBP) is above zero, confirming buyers dominate intraday, while Stochastic RSI and CCI highlight the overbought risk. The Awesome Oscillator (AO) also supports continued upside momentum. The pair is up $0.0604 or 46.07% today, opening with a sizable upside gap of approximately 35.16% and now trades mid-range with daily volatility amplitude at 15.74%. Intraday tone has been strong with buyers maintaining control and price consolidating off highs.

Earlier, analysts noted that Arbitrum’s bullish momentum and recurring revenue stream were bolstered by its integration with Robinhood Chain. The current data reinforce this positive trend, with traders advised to monitor the $0.2051 resistance for potential upside continuation or a close below $0.1831 as a signal of short-term weakness.
