Highlights

  • TAO/USD maintains a bullish trend across short, medium, and long timeframes with strong price action near daily highs.
  • Momentum indicators send mixed signals, with overbought conditions and buyer dominance but some short-term sell warnings.
  • Price is projected to consolidate between $254 and $286.56 with immediate support at $260.7 and a 78% probability of an upward move.

Diverging momentum signals as bullish supports strengthen

TAO/USD has cleared the MA-20 at $262.4, MA-50 at $261.18, and the MA-200 at $241.14, establishing a sequence of support levels beneath the current price. The Ichimoku Kijun at $260.7 marks the first significant technical support. On the momentum side, MACD, ADX, and Awesome Oscillator all indicate buying pressure, while Stoch RSI presents a strong sell and both CCI and Bull/Bear Power highlight overbought and buyer-dominated conditions. The RSI sits at 60.12, reflecting bullish but not overextended territory. Divergence is observed between some oscillators, as aggressive price action and buying momentum contrast with certain early signs of exhaustion.

Upside breakout likely as consolidation range narrows

In the short term, TAO is expected to consolidate within a $254–$286.56 range, representing typical volatility relative to current levels. There is a 78% probability of an upward breakout, with a move above resistance potentially driving price toward the upper band. In the less likely bearish scenario (22%), a breach below the support at $260.7 could trigger a test of the range's lower bound.

Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, sees strong short-term momentum in TAO as it trades above key moving averages and technical support levels. The analyst notes that most momentum indicators point to continued buying pressure, even as some early signs of exhaustion are emerging. He believes consolidation in the $254–$286.56 range is likely, but the odds favor an upside breakout with strong bullish sentiment prevailing. "Current technicals suggest the bulls are firmly in control, and I expect further gains as long as support at $260.7 holds," says Karapetjanc.

Previously it was reported that Bittensor was experiencing elevated volatility and downside risk after a period of bearish momentum and heavy trading activity. The current technical setup signals a notable shift, as TAO now exhibits bullish momentum and establishes higher support, with the key level to watch being whether the price sustains above $260.7 for further upside potential.
