Floqer unveils open-source AI

B2B sales teams are adopting more automation to keep customer records current and speed up prospecting work. Floqer says it is preparing to open-source the technology behind its autonomous customer knowledge database in early 2027, pending security reviews.

Highlights

  • Floqer plans to open-source its autonomous customer knowledge database in early 2027 following security reviews, allowing enterprises to self-host and customize the technology.
  • Floqer achieved over $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue, reporting a tenfold increase year-over-year, with more than 1,000 customers and $2 million in pre-seed funding.
  • Customers reported up to 70% reduction in prospecting time using Floqer's AI platform, strengthening its market position in automating enterprise sales intelligence and data hygiene.

Open-source plan and product rollout

As first reported by TechCrunch, Floqer is presenting at Startup Battlefield during TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 and says it plans to release the core technology behind its autonomous customer knowledge database as open source in early 2027, subject to security checks.

The company says its platform continuously collects, organizes and updates information that sales and marketing teams use to understand customers. Users describe the type of prospect they want, and Floqer's AI agents search across sources such as company websites, job boards and professional profiles to build lists of companies and contacts.

Floqer says the system can enrich target accounts with data from more than 100 third-party sources. For verified email addresses or phone numbers, it uses a waterfall process that checks multiple providers until it finds usable information, while also monitoring the web for changes such as job moves, promotions or new funding rounds.

Chief executive Shivam Mahajan says the decision to open-source the database partly reflects customer demand from companies that want to host their own data or customize the technology. The company is carrying out security reviews before any public release because the system can contain sensitive customer information and is already used by large businesses.

Growth metrics and market positioning

Floqer says it has surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue and that total revenue has increased roughly tenfold over the past year. The startup, founded in 2024 by Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, says it now has eight employees, more than 1,000 customers and $2 million in pre-seed funding from investors including Perplexity's F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats.

The company says customers have reported reducing prospecting time by as much as 70%, addressing a common pain point in revenue operations where teams still spend hours manually researching companies and cleaning customer relationship management data. That positioning places Floqer in a growing market for AI tools aimed at automating sales intelligence, data hygiene and account monitoring for enterprise users.

Floqer began with a different product, a Chrome extension called Super Chat, before shifting focus after enterprise users started applying it to clean CRM records. Mahajan says those conversations showed data maintenance remained highly manual, helping push the company toward its current platform.

Our earlier report on Othello’s $8 million seed round explained how the startup is building AI software that listens to live sales calls and delivers real-time coaching and recommendations for enterprise reps. We noted its claims of improved win rates and faster ramp-up for teams using the platform, as well as its push to expand engineering and add more personalized coaching features in a crowded sales-tech market.
