IRS interest rates for the calendar quarter beginning Oct. 1, 2026 will remain unchanged, as our earlier report noted. The decision keeps borrowing and payment conditions for federal tax liabilities stable, helping individuals and businesses plan for overdue balances and other tax-related obligations without adjusting to a new quarterly rate shift.
