Buyback stocks rose 195 percent compared to 88 percent for dividends, Phil Rosen notes
Buyback stocks double dividend returns

Buyback-focused stocks have significantly outperformed dividend stocks over the past decade, according to data shared by Phil Rosen. The BuyBack Achievers ETF delivered a 195 percent return, while the Select Dividend ETF returned 88 percent over the same period.

Rosen highlights that companies repurchasing their own shares have also experienced stronger earnings growth and higher return on equity.

Rosen has previously highlighted trends across major stocks and indices. He noted that the S&P 500 has typically hit its lowest point on March 12 on average over the past two decades. In another recent analysis, he reported Nvidia's current forward P/E of 20.9 is much lower than Cisco's 130.3 seen in 2000. These observations add context to his latest focus on buyback and dividend stocks.
