Evan Van Ness pleads guilty to overestimating how many Bitcoin enthusiasts truly understand the inner workings of Bitcoin, which he refers to as the orange memecoin.

He further explains that, in his analysis, he colored Antpool and related proxies in red, similar to how he colored Lido stakers in gray, as shown in attached screenshots.

Van Ness has previously raised questions about cryptocurrency industry practices. He has pointed to Confusion over Ethereum usage among Consensys employees. He also commented on the U.S. prosecution of Roman Storm in connection with digital assets.
