Historic pizza purchase used 10000 BTC, Pushpendra Singh notes
Pushpendra Singh, crypto educator and blockchain enthusiast, marks Bitcoin Pizza Day by recalling a pivotal moment in cryptocurrency history. Sixteen years ago, 10,000 BTC was spent on two Papa John’s pizzas in what is considered the first real-world Bitcoin purchase.
Singh has previously highlighted major developments in India's financial markets. He recently flagged a severe decline in the Indian rupee as foreign investors exited and oil prices climbed, describing the risk in detail here.
