Jean-Michel Pailhon: NFT trading activity hits 2-year high as prices stay flat
NFT trading hits 2-year high in May

Jean-Michel Pailhon, VP of finance & strategy (former) at Ledger, notes that the NFT market reached a 2-year high in trading activity in May, with around 235,000 weekly trades.

Despite this surge in trades, NFT prices showed little movement. Art-historical projects such as Cryptopunks, Autoglyphs, Beeple, and Sam Spratt saw notable gains, with Autoglyphs rising 55 percent, while the hype-driven PFP sector experienced declines.

Pailhon recently highlighted the appearance of Cryptopunks NFTs in a primetime PNC Bank television campaign, which drew attention from the NFT community. He also announced plans to attend the NFC Summit in Lisbon next week. These developments reflect Pailhon’s ongoing engagement with the NFT and crypto sector.
