Jeanine Pirro: Scam center task force freezes $3.8 million in stolen cryptocurrency
Jeanine Pirro reports that a scam center strike force has disrupted more than 1.4 million scam accounts and frozen $3.8 million in stolen cryptocurrency.
According to Pirro, the operation disrupted criminal infrastructure across Southeast Asia after scammers stole billions from Americans.
Pirro recently covered a Washington conference where government and private sector groups teamed up to address cyber and crypto investment scams targeting consumers (link). Earlier, she reported that DISH was ordered to pay $17 million after fraudulently securing federal payments through ineligible applicants (link). The latest enforcement comes amid ongoing efforts to curb financial fraud and protect victims.
